
BIKINI BODY OVER 40? I think…YES!

Lenore is a 44 year old IFPA Bikini Pro, Natural Athlete, NANBF judge, and Bikini and Figure presentation/posing coach. She is proof that you can keep that bikini body in your 40s. “I train and eat smarter than I did in my earlier younger years, and I make recovery part of my training routine. Recovery is mission critical and a key differentiator in my longevity in the sport,” states Lenore.

Lenore has been competing in natural physique competitions since 2005. She began her career by entering a Natural Body Building competition in 2005 and after that first show, she was hooked. Lenore moved her focus to competing in Figure, and once the Bikini division was created she found her niche.

- Hydrate
Up to 60 percent of the body is water. Water is mission critical for metabolism, energy conversion, digestion, and ridding toxins from the body. Dehydration can decrease your metabolism and trigger fatigue. I make it a point to consume 1 – 1.5 gallons of water daily. It helps curb my appetite, too!
- Massage
Increase your blood flow and circulation to soft tissue by using a foam roller and investing in professional massage. Massage helps rid toxins from the body and relieve stress. I use my foam roamer several times a week and schedule bi-weekly professional massages. During my contest prep my massage therapist, Tara Shea Judge, does a lymphatic massage to boost my metabolism and rid those extra toxins. Tara is my secret weapon!
- Sleep
Commit to a regular sleep schedule. Sleep will allow your muscles to heal, balance your hormone levels and give your mental muscle a break. You will lose out if you don’t snooze. I make it a point to get 7 – 9 hours of sleep every night!

Lenore’s competition career highlights include placing 2nd at the IFPA North American in May 2014, placing 3rd at the IFPA Masters Galaxy Elite in August 2013, and obtaining Pro status at the NANBF Natural Minnesota in May 2012. She is sponsored by P4P Muscle and Perfect Fit Gear (competition suits).
Lenore is currently in training for the IFPA Yorton Cup in October 2014, and is focused on achieving her personal best.
