FALL FITNESS FASHION! WITH ALYSSA VAN DIEST, JESSIE LYNN, VIRGINIA TOTH, AND MELINDA CORSSINO
Yes, we have had tons of fun over the past several months bopping around in outfits that consisted of just a few swatches of fabric. Soon it will be time to cover up those sexy, fit bikini bods. But no need to worry! Even though the temps will change, celebrating your bod, and fit girl lifestyle while still looking and feeling sexy doesn’t have to. We asked four fabulous Bikini babes for a few tips on how to stay warm this fall without losing the cool.
As fit girls, sometimes it can be tough to still feel/look cute in cold-weather clothing. Sweaters can look “bulky,” or “blocky,” and layers can hide the curves we work SO HARD trying to achieve! Well, it’s time to end the fall/winter-clothing blues… and dress to show off that hard-earned bod even as the temps drop.
Tip #1: Show off those shoulders! Form-fitting, three-quarter sleeved (or long-sleeved) tops showcase the delts and give your arms SHAPE (instead of big sweaters that hide those lovely muscles). Wear it with some skinny jeans and riding boots for a cute fall look!
Tip #2: Dress up some yoga pants (yes, I said DRESS UP YOGA PANTS)! Pair some comfy yogas with a cute, flowy top and statement necklace for a fun night out with the girls (and let your quads/glutes do all the “talking”).
Tip #3: Nothing says “fall” like a flannel shirt… but if you’re like me, you might have a hard time finding a button-down shirt to fit those shoulders! So instead of buying a big ol’ baggy shirt, use it as a jacket with a long workout tee and some acid-wash jeans (a big trend right now!) for a perfect casual fall outfit.
Tip #4: This is what I call the “Hair-Tie Trick.” As a fit girl, it’s hard to find sweaters that don’t swallow your shape (or make you look like a pair of shoulders!)… SO, what I do is use a hair tie (the same color as the fabric of my sweater), gather up a little bit of the sweater and use the hair tie (like you would tie your hair in a bun) around the sweater to give it (and me!) some shape. You can also use this trick with big, over-sized shirts, etc.
“Mix and match whatever you have laying around and just have fun with it!”
Tip #5: Kill two birds with one stone—dress up a workout shirt AND use something from your summer wardrobe! Like I said before, fall is all about layering… so why not use a long-sleeve Nike shirt and cut-off tank?! Throw on a fancy statement necklace and BAM…you have a fun, fashionable fall look. Mix and match whatever you have laying around and just have fun with it!

With fall now approaching, us fitness girls need to step up our cooler weather fashion! I always find fall to be my favorite time to be creative with style. Since I tend to stay in pretty good shape all year round, why hide it?!
A few must-haves for the fall in my wardrobe include leggings, waist belts, and shoes. I love leggings since they are so versatile and go with pretty much anything! My favorite outfits start off with black leggings and a denim button down or blouse. If you have a skinny waist like I do, why hide it? Show it off with a belt by synching your waist. Be sure to pick a fun color to fit the season like oranges, reds, and yellows.
“You can dress an outfit up or down just by what you’re wearing on your pretty little feet.”
To finish off your unique style, we look at shoes. You can dress an outfit up or down just by what you’re wearing on your pretty little feet. If I’m going out for a day of shopping I tend to wear some type of boots, mid leg or low rise. I then bring a pair of high heels or dressy flats with me to finish my day with a night out on the town.
So that’s it, girls! And remember, since we are fit, we have curves. Make sure to embrace them and show them off whenever you can!

“Colors make us feel happy and bring back the sunshine in our life!”
People don’t like to be unmotivated, but as soon as the summer is over, people get used to it. Why? Because everybody is missing the fun and the sunshine of the summer. I know, it’s so much easier to go the gym in warm whether, rather than dressed up in cold. But you can bring back the summer to your soul or even keep it with dressing up colourful! Colours make us feel happy and bring back the sunshine in our life! So be pretty no matter where you go and bring color to your life!

The fall is fast approaching ladies, so it’s time to switch up your fitness fashion a bit . . . Right???
I’m the kind of girl that is usually in compressions shorts no matter what season it is, but for the fall I think it’s all about BOLD colors and CRAZY patterns. The fall can tend to get dull and bring down people’s moral with dreaded winter around the corner. So keep your fashion fun with bright and vibrant colors. I always try to pair crazy patterns with a solid color top. Black is usually my go-to color, but anything solid that matches your bottoms works.
“I will often throw on some knee high athletic socks to keep me warm…”
I also love to run trails in the fall, but it can get a bit chilly. Since I love compression shorts, I will often throw on some knee high athletic socks to keep me warm and help with circulation as well. My favorite place to order socks right now is http://thesoxbox.com/. They offer so many crazy socks, both plain and with funny/motivating sayings on them. Also, 20% of every Sox Box purchase goes to the Independence Fund for wounded US Military Veterans. You cant beat $9.99 for great fall fashion and a great cause!
Have fun, stay motivated, and stay warm!
